Philipos was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1987. He studied in Greece at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the University of the Aegean in Syros Island. As a designer he works with print and web design, photography, video editing, 3D rendering, social media administration, advertising and event management. He has been a member of the Akropoditi Dancetheatre since 2010 as a performer, teacher and designer. He is a founding member of Akropoditi Dance Centre and the festival DanceFest Akropoditi. He has attended workshops and courses of contemporary and classical dance, improvisation, acrobatics, contact improvisation, choreography, feldenkrais, pilates, butoh and yoga with instructors from all over the world. Currently, he resides in Cyprus and works as a customer service representative for a service providing company, as well as a freelance designer and movement instructor.
